Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented lawyer to join our Legal Affairs team, guiding, and supporting activities across Tetra Pak's businesses, especially in the development and sourcing areas.
The Tetra Pak Legal Affairs unit contributes to a profitable and sustainable business by anticipating and resolving legal issues, protecting innovation and our brands, and promoting good governance. It is headed by the Tetra Pak Group Executive Vice President and General Counsel, who leads a global team of more than 90 world-class lawyers, patent and trademark attorneys, corporate governance and risk management, and export control professionals.
The position is permanent, hybrid and based in Lund, Sweden or in another Tetra Pak site in Europe depending on arrangements (e.g., Modena in Italy, Madrid in Spain, Hochheim/Main in Germany). You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel, Legal Affairs, Supplier Management.
What you will do
Draft and negotiate the entire range of supply contracts (mechanical components, transport and logistic, chemicals etc.) including software licensing agreements and advise on all aspects of such agreements including their interaction with other regulatory areas such as competition, digital and sustainability.
Provide general legal, governance, risk and strategic support on a variety of business areas.
Develop and support the continuous improvement of related policies, processes (including risk assessment), template agreements, notices, checklists and other tools.
Train and develop business and legal colleagues in various legal and governance areas.
Help to manage external legal advisers.
Facilitate close teamwork with the Supplier Management team and other members of the Legal Affairs team as well as with specialists in various technology areas and other internal stakeholders.
We believe you have
You are a highly skilled, qualified lawyer with at least 5 years' experience working for a leading law firm and/or an in-house legal department in a multinational business of comparable size.
You are experienced in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
Experience of keeping track of existing and emerging regulations and laws in the sustainable sourcing arena would be an advantage.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent drafting and communication skills.

You are a strategic thinker who can apply your intellect and creativity in providing sound risk assessments and innovative legal solutions.
