Our client is in search of a legal consultant specializing in commercial/business and corporate law. As a legal consultant, you will be responsible for handling and providing guidance on a broad spectrum of legal matters related to commercial and corporate affairs in an international setting. Working alongside our client's other Legal Counsels, you will assist the Head of Commercial Legal by offering support and fostering a cooperative environment for sharing knowledge. Your primary focus will be assisting with diverse commercial agreements, although occasional tasks and support in the field of corporate law may also be requested.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Prepare, review, and participate in negotiations of agreements within the B2B and B2B2C sectors
• Offer high-quality legal advice for daily operations, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements such as commercial framework and collaboration agreements, supply agreements, software licensing, IT-law, distribution and logistics, and general procurement agreements
• Provide guidance on a range of legal matters related to daily operations, adopting a business-partnership approach
• Create and update contract templates, while also offering support in drafting legal guidelines
• Take the lead on legal matters to ensure strategic objectives are met
• Collaborate effectively within the Commercial Legal team and closely with colleagues from the Legal & IP team
The following qualifications and skills are necessary for this role:
• A Swedish Law Degree, (master courses in International Commercial/Business Law or Comparative Company Law, knowledge in these areas is considered a bonus)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience, such as working at a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing commercial agreements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• CAD (CATIA) and Team Center Automotive.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
