hela Sverige Group Legal Affairs is looking for a Legal Counsel to Saab Business Area Kockums.
Your role
As legal counsel for Business Area Kockums, you will work in an exciting, complex and global environment with challenging tasks and responsibilities. You will be responsible for handling legal affairs and to provide legal advice and support, including i.a.
* Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
* Participating in larger projects including bid preparation
* Providing legal counsel to business stakeholders regarding i.a. commercial law, disputes, company law, intellectual property matters, competition law and compliance.
In addition to providing legal support to one of Saab's business areas, you will be given the opportunity to work with challenging errands, pushing your development every day.
This position requires some travelling in Sweden and internationally. We are first and foremost looking for a colleague to join us at our office in Malmö, but may be open for placement also in Karlskrona.

Your profile
We are looking for a person willing to operate in an international and challenging environment. You should be comfortable to work in teams but must also be interested to work independently and take responsibility for the business areas ' legal affairs. You combine your experience, knowledge and skills with good judgment, analytical capacity, high integrity and excellent service.
As a person you are driven, enjoy working and cooperating with other people and have an outstanding ability to turn individual efforts into productivity and added business value.
Required skills:
* A Swedish law degree
* Several years of experience from working as a legal counsel in a company or as a commercial lawyer in a well reputed major law firm
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
Desired skills:
* Experience from working with complex international industrial agreements, construction agreements or shipbuilding agreements
* Experience from working with international procurement processes
* In depth knowledge in procurement law, intellectual property law or competition law
What you will be a part of
You will be part of a legal team working within the function and you will report to the Head of Legal, Business Area Kockums.
Group Legal Affairs is headed by the General Counsel and is organized in different functions (one for each business area, Ethics and Compliance, Corporate Export Compliance, Market Network Management etc.) with twenty experienced legal counsels located on five different sites in Sweden and abroad.
Business Area Kockums provides design, construction and in-service support for advanced naval systems such as surface combatants and submarines to the Swedish Armed Forces and other customers worldwide. Other successful products are the air-independent stirling system, mine countermeasure systems, submarine rescue systems as well as combat and patrol boats. Kockums have operations in Karlskrona, Malmö, Muskö, Docksta and Singapore.
