hela Sverige Nasdaq is looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Nordic/Baltic legal team. The main responsibility of the legal team is to advise Nasdaq's European business. Topics include e.g. business development in relation to Nasdaq's regulated business (including trading, clearing and settlement), general corporate law (including M&A, contract drafting and negotiations) and corporate governance. The common denominator in all these areas is that the legal team strive to be an appreciated business partner and integral part of the decision-making processes. In this role, you will report to Head of Legal Nordic Fixed Income and Post-Trade.
We are looking to get in touch with candidates with a law degree and at least five years working experience, preferably from a major law firm or similar. Prior experience of the financial industry is considered an advantage. To be successful in this role, you also need to be ambitious, self-motivated and results oriented with high integrity and excellent communication skills. Furthermore, we expect you to be a team player who is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
