About the role
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Quinyx Legal team, someone wanting to be part of the ongoing build-up and development of the Legal team within Quinyx, provide input and shape it.
The Legal team ensures that we go into and manage business relationships with the best possible legal structure, using a risk-based approach to "identity, quantify, assess and address" legal issues. You will be involved in driving our business forward, optimising our risk and helping your Quinyx colleagues to be even more efficient in relation to legal aspects.
Successful candidates will have proven experience drafting and negotiating legal agreements relevant to an international Tech environment, navigating privacy regulations, and handling a broad range of technology and commercial contracts.
What you'll be doing
Interact with business teams across the global Quinyx organisation to provide legal advice, support, and training on complex legal and business questions;
Draft and negotiate agreements with customers and partners to conclude complex commercial contracts with a focus on our SaaS services;
Advice on privacy regulations and work with related contractual and instructional documentation;
Work closely with the Quinyx General Counsel in improving legal and contractual processes, structures, and templates;
Be involved in instructing external legal resources.
What you'll bring to the team
Appropriate formal legal education in Swedish or English law;
At least 3-4 years' professional experience;
Experience relevant to independently drafting and negotiating B2B software agreements in an international context;
Fluent in professional legal English, with fluency in Swedish, German or Dutch a large plus;
You are an awesome colleague, accountable and willing to go the extra mile, with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and an understanding of the importance of forging relationships internally and externally;
Ability to coordinate effectively across disciplines and time zones, gain trust and confidence with colleagues at many different levels and be clear and concise in your communications and advice;
You are able to combine and balance being pragmatic and flexible with showing confidence and integrity;
You understand how to balance legal and risk elements with business and growth aspects.
The WOW-factor
Experience from both law firm and in-house legal environments;
Formal training, or professional experience, in multiple jurisdictions where Quinyx has offices;
A good understanding of technical aspects relevant to SaaS services.
