At Energy Management, we are nearly 200 dedicated individuals taking the lead in researching, designing, delivering, and verifying functions and software systems aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and minimizing range anxiety in our electrical vehicles. Our focus is on providing a market-leading charging experience while balancing various attributes using available data and given hardware.

The team Energy Eco System consists of around 10 engineers with diverse backgrounds located in Gothenburg with the overall responsibility to inform, educate and coach users in their electrification experience while driving. We work closest with the development/programming teams implementing the systems, but collaborate cross-functionally with many different areas, such as charging, battery, thermal management as well as the UX design and product validation team.

What you'll do
Your main responsibility is to secure understanding of the applicable regulations within the department. You will receive information from the Regulatory Affairs department and also scanning for applicable regulation and effectively communicate this to the line organization to achive the required compliance maturity level. You will support and proactively coach the department in the compliance work to increase efficiency and robustness throughout the complete lifecycle of our products
You will review and commenting on proposed new regulations and Regulation/Standard/Requirement updates and you will support quality checks of data and reports as stored in CAMSy

You will closely collaborate with our system designers and engage with various teams and individuals, both internal and external to the department, involved in software and hardware design.

What you'll bring
We seek someone who is open-minded and curious with a good ability to cooperate in a flexible environment. You need to be proactive and you have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and can manage multiple topics simultaneously. As a technically minded team player, you enjoy collaborating with people from diverse cultures. In addition to being user-focused, you have a strong analytical ability and are structured and organized in your daily work.
We believe the right person have good knowledge about working procedures regarding product development, target setting, designing, and testing.

Mandatory:
• Bachelor or master in SW/Mechanical/electrical engineering or similar
• Fluent in English (speech and writing)
• Legal and Compliance background

Meritorious:
• System and/or function design background
• Manage requirements using tools like System Weaver.
• Driver's License (B)
• System Safety/ Cyber Security experience
• Previous automotive industry experience
• System Weaver/Elektra or similar management tool
