Senior Lecturer in Software Engineering and Management
IT University of Gothenburg, invites applications for a position as senior lecturer (universitetslektor) in software engineering and management. The position is placed at the Department of Applied Information Technology, University of Gothenburg, and involves both research and teaching.
Software Engineering research at the department is industry oriented and involves contract research. We have frame agreement with Ericsson, Volvo, and Saab Space, and are partner in one industry oriented EU project. Present focus areas are testing and verification, global software development, software metrics, software processes for model driven development, and technology adoption.
Software Engineering education at the department is profession oriented and relies on problem based learning and project courses. Our educations include programs at bachelor- and master level programs, and recently also doctoral studies.
QUALIFICATIONS: PhD in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or in other area relevant for the position.
BASIS FOR ASSESMENT: Scientific-, teaching-, and collaboration skills at the same level. Experience with empirical research methods, interdisciplinary work, and problem based learning will be taken into consideration when making the appointment.
