To a new role in our organization, we are now looking for an agile Learning Manager to join us in setting the framework of training and development management for Seco Tools. You thrive in an international and diverse setting where your collaboration skills and your drive are keys to our success. In return, we offer you the freedom to lead the way.
The location for this position is somewhat flexible, but preferably connected to one of our sites in either Fagersta (Sweden), Troy, (USA), Erkrat (Germany) or Alcester (UK).
Your mission
We depend on strong leadership to achieve our objectives in this new area, and as Learning Manager, you provide a global strategy and professional management to your team and your speaking partners, both internally and externally. By leading the development of concepts and managing competence and development activities, you ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness in line with our corporate standards, and you secure a plan that meet our organizational requirements and future business needs. An important part of your work is to liaise with our functional and area managers to ensure relevant development strategies based on identified and unique needs. You also stay updated on new trends and innovations in the competence development sector, and you build successful relations with external consultants and development providers.
In this position, you inspire and develop your direct reporting team members and you have a large network of contacts spread across our global organization, which means business travel is a natural part of your job.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant field of studies, combined with at least five years' experience from successfully managing teams in the areas of operational, organizational or HR development. We value proven experience from project and change management, and you need solid experience and understanding of leading the way - strategically and tactically - in a multinational industrial business. We are present in all corners of the world, which calls for excellent verbal and written skills in English. Any additional language skills are beneficial.
With a broad business perspective and sincere commitment for your area, you know how to navigate efficiently in this cross-cultural environment. You impact the way we are working by identifying and implementing initiatives, and you have an innovative approach towards challenges. As you interact with many parts of our organization, you need to be an inspiring communicator with great people skills. You also take pride in creating trusting environments and great partnerships - enabling you to lead, engage and develop your team members in a confident and successful way.
