The Marketing department promotes the Klarna brand globally, spreading our vision of making the world buyable. We strengthen Klarna's brand towards both merchants and end-consumers and we play a key role in visualizing and communicating Klarna's business offering around the globe. The Digital Development team is responsible for our most important channel klarna.com and we now need a Lead Web Developer to build an even stronger team.

Our humble ambition is to build a world class web development department that will develop klarna.com into a business hub for our corporate customers and a destination for consumers. As Lead Web Developer, you will lead the day-to-day development and help develop both the team and our ways of working. We are continuously striving to become more effective and agile, and you will have a pivotal role in this work.

Today we have over 7 million customers and around 15.000 web-stores use our products. The number of visitors to klarna.com grows and the importance of the site is increasing every day. As the Lead Web Developer you will be a key player in taking our web to a global level. Your goal is to make klarna.com an experience of its own.

As the Lead Web Developer you have a broad set of skills and the ability to learn new technologies in a short time. You have worked professionally as a web developer for at least 3 years and probably have an academic education. You love the agile ways of working and know the power of communication. PHP, Javascript, JQuery and JSON/XML are things you know by heart, but you also have a strong interest in Drupal, Git, Google analytics, responsive design and/or SEO.
