Lead User Experience
This is an opportunity for an experienced lead user-experience designer, you will take the overall responsibility of all designs of our customer experiences. You should understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as ordering and interpreting user research, to translate them into the relevant design experiences; sitemaps, user flows, customer journeys maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. You will be expected to design user experiences in all consumer facing touchpoints, throughout the whole end to end journeys, both digital and physical ones. You will secure the iteration with user-testing, getting learning and continuous improvements.
You provide thought leadership thanks to your expertise and experience in user-experience leading resources both internal and agencies.
Your role is highly collaborative and consultative; you will lead the overall user-experience direction, and you will advise in all touchpoints collaborating with different stakeholders. You will foster a climate of co-creation of user-experience spreading your knowledge.
We are looking for a person who is obsessed with customers, innately curious and possess a natural inclination to lead design efforts. You should have deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD), and strong analytical capabilities. You also have excellent communications skills.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Own and lead the design process from concept, to flows, to wireframes, to prototypes, to user testing, etc. that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Make strategic design and user-experience proposals and decisions related to our omnichannel customer journeys, focusing on digital, retail, service and all customer interactions
- Effectively design interactions ranging from small feature iterations to larger, complex, greenfield experiences
- As a leading contributor to design projects: establishing the vision, adhering to a design process, brainstorming and managing execution
- Apply an understanding of user analytics and KPIs to monitor the product's performance and guide product evolution
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
Profile and Background
- Formal study of User Experience design
- Bachelor's degree required, min. 5 years of experience in interaction design and visual design, and also experience in linking digital to physical interactions
- Strong portfolio that showcases successful design
- Proficient using tools for pre-visualization, prototyping and spec creation (eg. Sketch, Invision, Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
- Prior experience working with Agile software development process
- Writes HTML and CSS
- Leadership skills
