Vehicle Automation within Volvo GTT is developing the first generation of Self-Driving trucks which will redefine the commercial transport solutions that most of us rely on every day.
Simulations, Scenarios and V&V group inside Vehicle Automation is driving several major activities within Autonomous Driving development chain including AD Verification & Validation, System Integration, Data Management and Accident Research Team.
System Verification & Validation team within Simulations, Scenarios and V&V group is driving innovative test method development, and test execution as part of System Verification and Validation of Autonomous Driving products. The test environments used are simulation environment, HIL and physical trucks. The SSVV group consist 27 highly dedicated, creative engineers, 6 of them belonging to System Verification & Validation.
Within Simulations, Scenarios and V&V we are going through a major growth and shaping period in order to become the world leading Autonomous Driving V&V organization. Therefore we are now in need of two (2) Lead System Verification Engineers with the drive and passion to lead this journey with an attitude of always striving to be the best in the world whatever you do.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Lead System Verification Engineer you will perform test analysis of all inputs available, create test cases and verify/validate Autonomous Driving functions / Use Cases and other parts of our future Automated Driving solutions. You are eager to participate and support in development of process/method improvements in order to increase as well product quality as the team 's operational excellence. Operationally, you report to Product Owner in System V&V Agile Team while you will have Simulations, Scenarios and V&V Manager as line manager.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
• A Master's degree in Engineering (preferably Physics/Electrical/Mechanical or Automation and Mechatronics Engineering) or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of documented experience as Functional Verification Engineer on system level
• Good knowledge of the different automated equipment and methods for testing/monitoring/steering a system under testing and logging the data
• The traceability is a key word so both planning and reporting in different tools is requested
• ADAS Functional Verification/Testing experience is a strong merit
• Driver license C (truck) is a merit
• Excellent English, other languages considered to be a merit
