hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Ecaps AB i Solna The System Engineer constitute a technical bridge between the customer's engineering team and ECAPS R&D team. The function is to secure compliance to specifications, schedules, test plan and documentation requirements for thruster and subsystem projects. In a pre-sales situation, also act as the ECAPS technical point of contact, leading the technical proposal activity. This responsibility also includes requirements engineering, system budget consolidation and definition of validation approach. The work will be done in close co-operation with the Commercial Program Manager and involve bonding to technology experts. Once the requirements are well understood the System Engineer works with the R&D engineering departments (CAD, Structural, Thermal and Electrical) to ensure the design is well executed. As part of the activities the System Engineer shall also support the design-team with various dedicated analysis.
ECAPS is positioned to grow. Regardless, whether the expanded revenue comes from subsystems or separate thrusters, the need for customer technical support will increase. We are looking for someone with extensive experience from the space industry, especially from the "new-space" field. The System Engineer must not only be able to support introduction of the HPGP technology on the global market and align requirements from customer design teams with product performance, but should also contribute to enforce ECAPS culture as a reliable supplier to the satellite market.
To succeed in the position, you will need:
• MSc level education in the fields of Engineering
• Documented Chemical Propulsion expertise
• Minimum 8 years of technical experience from the space industry
• Knowledge from Space Project process and milestones
• Understanding of ECSS
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of integrity, self-motivated
