Lead Structural Engineer, Design, TTS Marine AB (ref 12/12)
Background
The Structural Engineering team is presently developing not only to work with strength analysis and FEM in customer projects, but also R&D, Strength optimization & Naval Architecture.
To lead and develop activities in Gothenburg and our other global design offices, we are now recruiting a Lead Structural Engineer.
Who are you?
You have probably some years of experience working with strength of welded steel structures and/or ship design, and want to develop from where you are today.
You have a positive attitude and a strong driving spirit to develop operations and inspire others.
You have a good sense of structures, and an innovative mind in how to, in the most efficient way, create a structure considering loads, stiffness, weight and total cost within given limits.
Since you will interact intensively with other project members, different TTS functions, Class Societies, external technical groups, customers and ship owners you have excellent communication skills.
You may, but not necessarily, have educational background as Naval Architect or similar.
Educational talent is of great value since you will develop the structural and skills of design team members in our global organization.
