We are searching for a Lead Simulation & Analysis Engineer within Acoustics, to join the group of Cab Analysis. Our team works in different domains with skills in; Aerodynamics, Durability, NVH and Quality Impression. Performance and Simulations are the major parts of our group, and we are a support function to the other teams within the Cab Engineering department such as; Exterior, Interior and Cab Body.
The Cab engineering department is responsible for developing new advanced cabs for our future trucks while also continually adapt our current products to different market demands. We work as a global team with the different sites around the globe. Working in this international environment is an exciting challenge, which is placing more and higher demands on our employees.
Job description
As "Simulation & Analysis Engineer - Acoustics", you work closely with the design departments and other functions to improve the NVH & Acoustics performance of the truck. The main parts of the role include evaluation and proposal of technical solutions for improving the NVH & Acoustics performance of the truck. The focus of the job will be on acoustics and air borne sound, but structure borne vibrations will also be part of your work.
Main responsibilities
Carry out Acoustics analysis and evaluate technical solutions. Provide input for improved noise & vibrations of the truck
Take the lead for the acoustics and air borne sound simulations at Cab Gothenburg
Lead method development within the area of Cab acoustics and air borne sound

As you will lead the Acoustics simulations at Cab department in Gothenburg, we also value the ability to take ownership for the deliveries as well as the ability to be a team player and put the group/team first.
Qualifications
MSc and/or PhD in Mechanics or Physics
Several years of experience in tools and analysis methods for Acoustics, Audio and Structural Dynamics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred qualifications
Good knowledge in the following NVH analysis tools and pre/post processors,
Ansa/Metapost
Nastran
VA-One, Actran etc.
Knowledge/Experience within scripting (Python, Java etc)
Knowledge/Experience of Acoustics testing and test methods
Knowledge/Experience from product development & automotive industry
