Our characters and creatures come in many different shapes and appearances, and they all have something in common. They are all created by our team who share the same curiosity and passion for characters, acting performance and storytelling.
If you love characters and believe in the infinite possibilities that the animation technique affords storytelling you are definitely the one we are looking for.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain rigs for a wide range of styles. From stylized cartoon characters to realistic creatures as well as props.
• Develop modular rigging systems through MEL/Python.
• Develop publishing workflows/tools for rigs and animation.
• Work with lead TD's and artists in other departments to integrate rigs in our pipeline.
• Set up test procedures to minimize problems with the rigs further down the pipeline.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years documented production experience.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy and bio-mechanics.
• Fluent in MEL and Python.
• C++, Maya API knowledge is a plus
• Experience in Houdini is a plus.
