As a member of our development team at Hansoft, your first and foremost goal is to help our customers become successful in organizing their work by ensuring product quality and providing customers with high quality technical support. Our customers are everything from game developers, to teams making software for satellites and space rockets, to telecom companies, to teams within sales, HR, management, investors etc. using Agile management methods to be more lean and efficient.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the product and managing the day to day technical support. As a company Hansoft prides itself on providing excellent customer service and you will play a key role in ensuring our continued success in this area. Your responsibilities means that you will be involved in the entire design and development process, starting when feedback is received and ending when a new release of the software is shipped.
You likely have a background as a quality assurance engineer and wants to work in a more customer facing role, or you have worked with technical support previously and want to become more involved in the development process.
Main Duties
• Perform manual testing of the product using agile testing techniques.
• Help identify requirement deficiencies and provide UI/UX feedback.
• Enter, manage and close bug reports.
• Write and maintain test cases.
• Estimate QA work tasks to ensure delivery by agreed timelines.
• Answer technical support tickets.
• Help with process improvements.
• Maintain user manuals.

• Analytical, structured and problem solving mindset
• Good communication skills, both within the team and towards customers.
• Good ability to work in a group and interact with other team members but also fully competent and driven in completing tasks efficiently and in an independent way.
• Good time management and ability to deliver the right results at the right time.
• Self-motivation and commitment are important.
• Taking lead and initiative to improve in support quality, test approach and everyday work routines.
Hard skills
• Experience of client/server based applications, preferably from a QA/development perspective.
• Experience of working with project management tools, such as Hansoft, JIRA or Rally.
• Experience with agile development (e.g. SCRUM).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience of working in Linux/Unix environment.
• Experience in programming languages (such as C, C++, .NET, Java) is considered valuable.
• Experience of Database handling (such as SQL, MySQL, SQLite) is considered valuable.
• Experience of GUI automation tools (such as Ranorex, testcomplete) is considered valuable.
