The position as Lead Project Manager is organized within Advanced Vehicle Range (AVR), a global function of project managers and vehicle specialists responsible to define, develop and demonstrate advanced transport concepts.
As a Lead Project Manager you will be a key player in the most extensive advanced transport concept projects. You will manage innovative projects developing and integrating established and new game-changing technologies delivering a complete vehicle transport solution for virtual and/or physical demonstration. Examples of projects include concept trucks for improved freight efficiency and vehicle solutions for future environmental legislation.
You will work in close cooperation with a variety of cross functional stakeholders and solution providers, e.g. Vehicle Engineering, Powertrain Engineering, Product Planning, Complete Vehicle, Group Trucks Operations, Group Trucks Purchasing, Truck Brands.
The position includes leading collaborative projects involving external partners and agencies giving opportunities for public funding and increased knowledge base.
You will have the role as Chief Project Manager reporting to the Steering Committee. With support from your cross functional team you are responsible to manage the project performance.

Qualifications
• Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive project management experience including early development phases
• Experience in projects interfacing with several functional areas on different sites with high integration complexity
• Understanding of complete vehicle solutions and the commercial vehicle business and customers' needs
• Desired to have knowledge of the game-changers electromobility, automation and connectivity
• Skilled in development processes and an interest to apply agile methods and develop ways of working
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Clear communication fluent in English and experienced in reporting at executive level
