hela Sverige As a Lead Project Buyer for ECUs, you will be part of the ECU and Semiconductors team. You will be a key contributor to the transformation journey in the electronics domain and you will be accountable for the Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management, QDCFTSR, of the supplier base within your project scope. You will be responsible to make sure that the segment strategy is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers. You will also be expected to take a leading role in the overall scope of our future electronics architecture platform, coordinating activities within the buyer network.
Core Responsibilities
Managing purchasing activities on several major Electronic Control Unit that will be part of the future electrical / electronic architecture platform.
Lead the coordination of project buyers connected to ECU scope of future electrical / electronic architecture platform.
Secure supplier selections in projects based on QDCFTSR, aligned with the Segment strategy/Segment Business Plan as well as project requirements.
Lead negotiations within your project scope, with a QDCFTSR perspective, including securing the contractual package.
Contribute to segment strategies and segment business plan by being an active member of the global project and commodity buyer network.
Develop the Sourcing plan for components & systems according to cross functional time plans
Manage Sourcing activities in project phase.
Monitor, identify and mitigate risks in the Project phase.
To secure the outcome of the sourcing in a contractual package.
Keep up to date with innovation in the relevant areas and secure that the Volvo Group benefits from them.
Qualifications
University degree, preferably in engineering or business
