About the position
Responsibilities of this position rely on your hands-on experience and sound knowledge in cybersecurity area as well as your willingness to grow together to be able to "See your company through the eyes of a hacker".
You identify, define and evaluate cybersecurity principles, concepts and solutions for future electrical and software architecture to improve safety and security of our products
You support threat analysis and risk assessment activities in the context of electrical and/or electronic systems of our current and future products. You propose security mechanisms and technical solutions so that the identified cybersecurity risks can be mitigated and maintained at acceptable levels
You contribute to the definition, implementation and follow-up of cybersecurity management system. You support the team in defining holistic product cybersecurity management strategy and framework
Depending on your interest, you lead and/or participate in research and advanced engineering activities along with technology development and evaluation activities in automotive cybersecurity area
Depending on your interest, you support knowledge management by developing relevant training materials to increase awareness and bridge the knowledge gap in cybersecurity area within Volvo Group

Who are we?
"Infrastructure Capabilities" Group within Electrical and Software Architecture is responsible for cybersecurity solutions in the EE architecture as well as leading architectural investigations for infrastructure capabilities in our computational, signal and energy distribution system for trucks. We are 22 persons in total in the Group and the Cybersecurity Team consists of 12 persons.

Cybersecurity Team is Center of Excellence and Expertise in Product Cybersecurity within Volvo Group Trucks Technology. We make up a solid foundation of competence within Volvo Group. We provide cybersecurity framework to enable developing quality-assured products. We work with the complete life cycle, so everything from research and advanced engineering to following the quality status and customer happiness.

Required qualifications:
Academic Degree in relevant technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Sound knowledge about IT/Cyber security frameworks, methods, processes, tools and standards
Hands-on experience of working with security mechanisms, concepts and solutions in any major business sector or industrial domain
Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Beneficial qualifications: It is meritorious if you have one or more of the following:
Experience of working with automotive electrical and/or electronic system and architecture
Knowledge about safety-relevant embedded system/software architecture and design
Knowledge about relevant cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISE/SAE 21434) and guidelines
Knowledge about system safety, functional safety and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
