Lead Investigator

Mission and context
In this role you will focus on the investigation of security incidents and suspected crimes against the corporation. You will lead complex investigations and support regional security investigations in order to protect and mitigate risk for the corporation.

You will also develop leads for new investigations in close cooperation with subject matter experts, investigators and analysts. The role will serve as an important link between threat analysis and security investigations. Your ability to see the larger picture, collaborate and understand the corporate environment is essential for success.

You will further build deep relationships with the intelligence community and assist in various incidents, crisis and investigations and solve complex cases.

The successful candidate reports directly to the Director Investigation & Analysis.

Main Responsibilities
Lead complex security investigations related to cyber security, information security, counterfeits and suspected criminality
Develop leads for new security investigations in cooperation with Investigation & Analysis team
Support regional security investigations with actions, guidance and investigation analysis
Maintain a strong awareness and understanding of the current threat landscape relevant for Volvo Group
Develop strong, long-lasting, and collaborative relationships with members of the national and international security investigation community, law enforcement and peers within the industry
Collaborate with information security subject matter experts internally in order to further investigations related to incidents and suspicious activity
Provide investigation reports with findings and root cause analysis
Support in further development of security investigation methodology

Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information technology, cybersecurity, criminal studies, international relations or related field or equivalent experience of security investigations from corporate security or law enforcement
Advanced IT skills with a high level of information security experience & expertise
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting and/or cybersecurity operations, including cyber security investigations, vulnerability management, incident response, and threat hunting or equivalent experience in security investigations from corporate security or law enforcement
Experience from threat intelligence and analysis
Experience from crisis management
Ability to produce concise written investigation reports and briefings

CISM
CISSP
CISA
GCTI
