hela Sverige Ghost Games is a fairly new EA studio located in Gothenburg. We have since the start 3 years ago grown to around 100 employees from all over the world. This multicultural workplace is characterized by a culture of energy, engagement, pride and team spirit.
The Ghost studio is represented in Gothenburg, Bucharest and Guildford.
We are now looking for a Human Resource Business Partner. The position is a temporary placement, April 2015 to September 2016 and located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Role Overview
HR is responsible for acting as a business partner to the strategic management group of the studio and driving the implementation of global HR programs, services and initiatives.
Key to this role is to build a strong relationship with the management team to develop and execute in the talent area and help grow and develop the business in line with the company's overall goals.
Main areas of responsibility:
• Performance Management: Lead and facilitate effective performance management practices by helping to define success, establish metric, provide feedback and reward performance. Provide guidance to managers on performance issues, legislation related to disciplinary & grievance procedures and employment termination to ensure fair and compliant process.
• Compensation & Benefits: Manage and coordinate the annual merit and bonus process, midyear promotions etc. Provide business leaders with appropriate information on compensation and benefits programs and policies.
• Employee Relations: Provide thoughtful and sometimes difficult feedback in a professional manner to employees across all levels of the organization.
Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
Follow up on employee survey result (Team Health) through analyzing and working with local management on action plans.
Partner with managers and teams to identify and facilitate the impact that business changes within the organization have on employees, and work closely with HR colleagues on change initiatives.
• Learning & Development: Continue deliver on the EA Studios Talent & Succession planning. Coach management and employees through ongoing development and career planning discussions. Work with the business to foster a culture of ongoing performance management and development. Partner with leaders and managers to identify the future skill sets required to achieve business objectives.
• Relocation: Help manage global/internal mobility
Qualifications
• Human Resources Business Partner experience or similar
• Ability to work cross-functionally and globally through a matrix organization to integrate and execute HR and business strategies
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence the decision making process
• Strong HR consulting skills, with a focus on both strategic and tactical execution
• Excellent at building and managing through relationships across the HR organization - with peers and with Center Of Excellence partners.
• Have a passion for creating healthy organizations, driving transformation and helping culture be a competitive advantage.
• Good understanding of local employment law.
