hela Sverige Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Lead Game Designer to Just Football. Just Football's journey has just begun and if you have a passion for creating digital experiences that people love then this is the opportunity for you!
About the role
As Lead Game Developer you will be a part of a small, enthusiastic and fast moving team that works with the latest technologies. You will play a key role in the development of the game concept and mechanics in order to take Just Football's game, as well as football around the world, to the next level. Your core responsibilities will mainly include but not be limited to:
Lead game concept creation from core to meta
Continuously improve game mechanics and balancing of the game
Develop gameplay and the surrounding meta
In addition to this you will also partake in identifying key game pillars and goals to steer product and business decisions forward. You will also work closely with the product team to ensure common goals, expectations and a shared long term vision. As a key member of Just Football you will play a key role in shaping the future of the company which will include improvement of product workflow, process and company culture.
Just Football are looking for
As a person you are driven, social and able to take your own initiatives. You are able to work independently and adapt easily to new ideas in a flexible way. It is important that you can come up with different concepts and designs, but you also have the ability to question your work and value the input of others. You might currently be working and have a few years of experience as a Game Designer for a larger company but feel ready to move onto something new. It is important that you are passionate about game design and would furthermore be ideal if you shared Just Football's interest in football and vision.
About Just Football
Just Football is a start up with a young ambitious team based in Stockholm. Having launched in Sweden just weeks ago Just Football has already reached more than 25.000 users and thousands of kids playing real football against each other every day. Just Football's vision is to turn the world's biggest sport, football, into a mobile game in order to make kids spend more time outside being active. Much like "Pokemon Go" but for football, the mobile free to play game is at the intersection between real life football and a digital football career. The only way to progress in the game is to go out and play real football with your friends.
