hela Sverige Data Sourcing & Platform Integration unit is responsible for providing IT solutions related to integration and sourcing of data to the common information platform for further processing. This includes integration with existing and future platforms via the Global Accounting Interface and data sourcing to Common Data Warehouse.
As part of our strategy we plan to remediate the data ingestion area to the common data platform. Data ingestion area team is responsible for a General Purpose Data Acquisition Layer including landing and staging areas. We ae responsible for following the new platform integration journey and redefining and executing on the technology strategy We have also on our agenda to reinforce data delivery agreements with data sourcing providers.
You will be part of a strong team, working cross border and through an integrated information flow. The environment is highly professional, with high degree of personal responsibilities.
The position we offerThe Senior Expert IT Developer acts as a central point of the development and coordination activities within the development process with main responsibilities:
• Leads the development process on the data acquisition layer
• Sets requirements for application services and conducts follow-up
• Secures partner's involvement on the development process
• Sets development standards in the development process
• Gives input on the technology strategy on the data ingestion area
• Evaluates offers and follows development efforts in the area of responsibility
• Follows Work-in-progress and releases content in the area of responsibility
• Support in Application management especially in aspects of deployment and release management
• Supports as 2nd or 3rd line of support in case of incidents.
• Follows up on continuous improvement process and especially on short development cycles to support incidents and problem management and resolution
• Supports and sparring partner to programme/project managers
• Assists in transition processes of mature project implementations
• Can be involved in test phases of development activities on demand, especially when it comes to defect management and resolution process
• Co-operates with the business partners proactively and professionally especially on operational issues
The qualifications you needWe are working in a dynamic and changing environment and it is important that you are motivated by having many things on your table. Many maintenance and development services are done currently off-shore with other sourcing approaches currently under evaluation. For that reason, it is important that you are open to work cross-border/ cross-cultures within a global environment. We are looking for a person with strong commitment, drive and the ability to find good solutions to accomplish business requirements.
Key competencies for this job are the following:
• You have a relevant academic degree, in IT, Computer Science or Engineering
• You have experience from Agile development
• Experience in system development (Front-end and/or mainframe applications)
• Experience from Data projects preferably in a Global Systematic Important Bank (GSIB) like Nordea is
• Experience on new BI and Big data technologies is an asset
• Certification in relevant IT Service Management or Development management processes is an asset
• Experience in working in a multi-provider and multi-cultural IT sourcing environment is an asset
• Prior banking or financial services data flows and integration of transactional data systems is an asset
• Fluent in the English language, both orally and in writing
You are expected to have coordination and technical skills combined with experiences from working with IT-related issues close to a business organisation.
The position is preferably located in Stockholm. A certain level of travel can be expected as the role and responsibilities are Nordic.
