We have the aspiration to have the most skilled and engaged employees in the industry and we are now looking for a Lead engineer to strengthen the Exterior team within Cab Engineering Europe.
As Lead Engineer you will be a key contributor to the success of our customers. You will have colleagues around the world, all passionate about trucks and engineering solutions. We are the ones who develop new and premium cabs for our future trucks, covering advanced engineering, concept studies and detailed development work.

Main Tasks and responsibilities
• Component owner for mirror systems for Volvo brand
• Integrating Camera Monitoring Systems and components in Volvo brand products
• Secure component deliveries in close cooperation with suppliers
• Lead cross-functional teams in our different deliveries
• Plan, secure and document design and functional solutions in projects cross-functionally
• Identify Advanced Engineering needs

Qualifications
• Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years engineering of mechatronic design
• Experience from development in automotive industry and Electrical engineering
• Documented skills in Catia V5
• Skilled in PDM systems
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering tasks
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Driver's license B, valid in Sweden
