We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Vehicle dynamic's attributes!
Description
You will be part of our Chassis team and have a Lead role for Vehicle Dynamic attributes. In this role you will have the responsibility to define Vehicle level attributes within Vehicle Motion subarea's, Braking, Ride & Handling.
You will also have a leading role to create requirement's on "Next generation suspension technology" for the next Generation Electric Vehicle. You will lead technical requirement settings on Vehicle level. Your background should include thorough and detailed knowledge within this area of expertise and about connected chassis systems. You will work close to Vehicle dynamic/CAE and our tuning engineers.
This role means that you will;
• Lead Vehicle Dynamic's requirement setting within our company,
• Support and participate during tuning activities and attribute balancing through the complete product development lifecycle,
• Support the Chassis engineering and product development organization with a thorough theoretical and practical knowledge on Vehicle dynamic's,
• Write technical specification on Vehicle level, follow up and report attribute status during project progress,
• Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products,
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of Vehicle Dynamic's validation methodologies and procedures at concern for Chassis systems,
• Establish and maintain internal and external network within Vehicle Dynamic's expertise,
• Assure deliverables according to project plan,
You will work together with all business areas, line and projects within our Engineering department. External you will work with suppliers and engineering service providers.
We are looking for someone who has;
• University engineering education or equivalent experience,
• Relevant engineering experience in the work area, minimum 5 years,
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of Suspension system,
• Driver license B.
You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
To be successful in the role, you need to;
• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded,
• Have good communication skills,
• Have excellent automotive industry knowledge,
• Have the ability to plan and prioritize.
