Lead Engineer to our Battery Competence Center
Electrification is one of Husqvarna's key strategic priorities and its success will eventually come to define us as a company. Battery Competence Center (BCC) is a multi-site organization within the Husqvarna Group. We are the enabler for all Husqvarna battery products and we need to deliver the best battery solutions regarding time, cost and quality.
Husqvarna Group Battery Competence Center is in the center of this transformation. Our ambition is to reach global leadership within battery powered outdoor equipment. In order for us to do so we need you on this great journey with us!
The role
As Lead Engineer at our R&D department in BCC you will be responsible for technical deliveries in various battery and charger projects within the Husqvarna Group. Your responsibility will be to drive projects within the areas of Embedded Software, Electronics and Mechanics/Mechatronics. You will have many contacts within Husqvarna Group as well as with external suppliers. The team you are joining is a multisite team with skilled engineers of global origins.
About you
As a Lead Engineer within BCC, you need have a degree in engineering and at least 5 years of experience from engineering. We also see that you have Experience of technical project management with planning and prioritization. Your English skills need to be very good, both spoken and written.
We believe that you are a communicative, driven and responsible person who enjoy working in a team and to make contacts within the organization. We hope you have a genuine interest for batteries and surrounding technologies and perhaps you also have experience in embedded software or electronics development.
Experience from Husqvarna Group is meritorious.
