hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos GE Power Växjö i Växjö As Lead Structural Engineer you will represent the project in all matters regarding structural calculations - towards customers, internal/external partners, sub suppliers and others. You lead and delegate the work within your global project team and secure that the deliveries are according to relevant regulations and standards, according to customer requirements and according to schedule and budget.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize and lead the structural project team
• Make sure that the disciplines deliveries are on time, with right quality, at the right cost
• Interface with project team, sub suppliers and customers
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Master of Science in Civil, Mechanical or Physical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge/experience
• Focus on structural calculations (by FEA, by hand, programming etc)
• Significant experience
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• Limited national/international travel required
Desired Characteristics:
• Leadership
• Good communication skills in Swedish/English
• Practical experience of doing structural calculations of large steel structures (EuroCode)
• Experience of FEA tools and to a lesser extent be able to view CAD models
