Job Description
Within AFRY Automotive R&D we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions and attributes to customers in the automotive industry. Our customers are both established OEM 's, startup companies and system suppliers. We operate all over the world, mainly in Sweden, China, Brazil, US and UK.
We are now looking for experienced Lead engineer/project leader to our team within the areas mechanical design for interior & exterior.
You will lead the work of developing plastic parts from scratch to production, with concept and detailed design, supplier follow up and production of parts.
You will play an important role in the cross-functional engineering team's efforts to optimize the design and to meet all vehicle requirements. Through great commitment, strong interpersonal skills and a desire to share your knowledge and experience with other, you create the right conditions for collaboration, continued development within the team and to make the team achieve excellent performance.
You will join a strong team within exterior and interior systems.
Qualifications
You are a brave and devoted team player with extensive knowledge in Interior or Exterior system development and you have good analytical ability and use logic and methods to solve problems effectively, with the customer's needs in focus. You are usually seen as innovative and like to take on new challenges. No challenge is too great, and your mindset is always adding value to our customers.
Your academic background is a Bachelor or master's degree, but most important is your extensive experience in Interior and Exterior systems. You may have previously been working at a global OEM or Tier 1 but is now looking for a new challenging career path.
Your business English is fluent both verbally and in writing and you communicate easily with both peers and upper management. Being professional is key and you always act upon the best interest of the company. You are within the business known for your strong integrity and you share ÅF's view on ethics and values
