WHO ARE WE?
The heavy-duty diesel future will be very interesting but also a demanding challenge. There is a need to take big steps in reducing CO2 and comply with the even more restricted emission legislation. Further work with alternative fuels solutions will also be a part of this work and our future. The FIE Team is growing. We are 11 engineers from 6 different countries working together from Gothenburg having daily interaction with our colleagues in Brazil, USA and France. Our team within Fuel Injection Systems at Powertrain Engineering, is looking for a new team member for the position as Lead Engineer Engine calibration, Combustion Calibration and Fuel Injection Calibration.
WHAT CHALLENGES DO WE OFFER?
In this position you will be leading the Calibration of the Fuel Injection System and its components considering the current and future fuels found in the market. You will lead a global team of high skilled engineers and support the Combustion Calibration and Complete Engine Calibration.
As Lead Engineer Calibration you will participate in different stages of the Product Development form the earlier development phases to the start of production and continuing to the product maintenance phase. Do you want to be part of an innovative team and work together towards a clean future?

Key experience and knowledge for the role:
Master of Science or similar technical education.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
5 years of experience within combustion engine development, where of >3 years in engine calibration.
Considerable experience in combustion engine modeling and optimization.
Considerable knowledge in calibration systems and tools, Vision, Creta, Sakura, ASCMO, ENE, VTR.
If you also have experience from Volvo Group Trucks Technology Organization and specifically Powertrain Engineering that is considered a merit. We also consider it a merit if you have knowledge in systems and tools such as KOLA, PDMlink, Protus, Protom, Knox, EDB, Argus, Creo, Tech tool, JIRA.
