We are now looking for a Lead Engineer for Interior Lighting!

Description

The Interior Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will part of a team of Engineers, with your primary responsibility for Interior Lighting. A Lead Engineer primarily collaborates internally with other engineers and technical specialists and externally with suppliers and is involved in all phases of a car project.

The role as Lead Engineer Interior Lighting involves:

• Lead the development of Interior Lighting on system and component level
• Develop and maintain environment for Interior Lighting development
• Leading technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development lifecycle
• Identifying opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce cost
• Evaluating the feasibility of new proposals and products
• Responsibility for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures that concern interior lighting
• Establishing and maintaining internal and external networks with interior lighting expertise
• Being responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures.
• Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
• Providing input to best practice design solutions
• Support mentoring and training activities.
• Anchoring the assignment's decisions , development and status with the responsible line management

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience from lighting systems in the automotive industry, minimum 5 years
• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of interior trim systems
• Knowledge of Team Center
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Driver license B

• Excellent automotive industry knowledge
