We are now looking for a Lead Engineer for Instrument panel and Floor console
Description
The Interior Department, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will be part of a team of Engineers that covers the whole vehicle, and will work close with other engineers in the interior team, system and attribute engineers regarding parts, requirements & interfaces. The work scope will be from early platform and concept studies to support during production starts in the Instrument panel and Floor console area, but with flexibility to work on other interior areas as needed. An Instrument panel and Floor console Lead Engineer is involved in all phases of a vehicle project.
The role involves to;
• Develop related system/component requirements that meet the overall vehicle requirements,
• Lead the Instrument panel and Floor console engineering with a thorough theoretical and practical knowledge in the area,
• Lead technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development lifecycle,
• Develop, coordinate, plan, evaluate, and inform according to project timing,
• Identify opportunities and/or implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce costs,
• Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products to meet the requirements,
• Anchor decisions, development and status with the responsible management,
• Responsibility for Test & Validation,
• Support supplier assessments/reviews,
• The team is growing and you will take part in technical development as well as forming the team and develop the processes around it.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has;
• Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience,
• Relevant experience in the relevant work area, minimum 8-10 years,
• English and Swedish, both spoken and written,
• Driver license B.

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current Collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
