We are now looking for a Lead Engineer to our FoodTech division. As Lead Engineer you will be responsible for successfully collecting, developing and share solutions within the FoodTech team. You will work closely to FoodTech sales & application teams and their customers as well with the Operations organization. The role will report to the global FoodTech Technical Manager.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Ensure that the knowledge about the solutions and experiences are shared and developed within the FlexLink organization
• Define the product functionality and specification for the solution
• Support Sales units with knowhow, advise Sales units on solutions and support Sales units in quotation phase
• Have a strong emphasis on market knowledge, understanding the customer and market needs
• Market analysis of product potentials
• Maintain a strong focus on cost optimization
• Actively participate in product launches supporting Product Management
• Technical and hygienic design training of FlexLink personnel and customers
Ideal Candidate Experience and Requirements
• Higher education in a technical field (engineering). At couple of years experience working in similar positions in mid-size and large food production facilities
• Product and process knowledge in FoodTech industries
• Hygienic design, food safety and material knowledge
• Product profitability calculations, ROI calculations, etc
• English, spoken and written
• Presentation and communication skills
• Innovative, Problem solving and self driven
• Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
