hela Sverige Responsible for fire safety requirements on critical components and systems. Which means to be active early in the projects and then follow up critical components or systems. There will also be some support to our maintenance organization in handling issues in running production.
We need a person with experience from working in the fire safety are and have some experience from battery electrical vehicles.
Must be familiar and be able to navigate in the legal requirements as well as the Volvo internal standards and GDI's.
Job description and responsibility
Fire protection with focus on prevent that fires start and reduce consequences of a fire.
Cross functional work with mainly engineers and geometrical architects to give them right pre-requisites for their work in projects, this role supports all areas within GTT and in some cases supporting other AB Volvo business areas.
Work includes Diesel motor installation, Battery Electric Vehicles as well as Fuel Cell Electrical Vehicles and Complete Cab.
You will also be part of GTT safety network where Operator Safety and Collision Safety also are part of.
Typical work tasks
Develop test plans and methods for fire safety and execute plans
Develop installation requirements for fire safety
Arrange external fire test with ex RISE or similar institute
Support engineers in material and installation questions for a component or system
Assist in safety and installation audits

Personal profile:
This position will require daily communication with a large number of people and therefore we need a person that have an open attitude in meeting new people and can build your network to get the job done.
You have an interest to learn and develop yourself as well as the people around you.
Goal oriented and communication skills is needed to get the job done.
Knowledge on fire protection and some experience from writing/reading reports and legal text.
