We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Electrical Fault Tracing within the department of Product Lifecycle Engineering!
Description
The Product Lifecycle Engineering department is incorporated inside the Technical Development Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department Product Lifecycle Engineering are to formulate requirements, design influence, develop diagnostics and technical information as well as deliver or publish the information to customers. Our customers are both internal and external, during the vehicles complete lifecycle until scrapping.
As Lead Engineer Electrical Fault Tracing, you will lead the work of electrical fault tracing in the vehicles complete lifecycle. Work is done in cooperation and you will have a coordinating role within the group. Developed social skills is an important part of the role due to the contacts with all levels within the company, customers, and suppliers in a multi-cultural environment.
This role also involves:
Development of electrical fault tracing procedures based on diagnostic fault codes and/or fault symptoms. Supervise and partly define the needed diagnostic data content for the electrical system control modules. Develop and commit authoring of Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
We are looking for someone who has:
University degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fault tracing. Long experience of working in CMS systems or equivalent. Good knowledge about modern vehicles. Experience of diagnostic concepts in modern vehicles.
- High skills in working in Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Abilities to deal with ambiguity as well as solving problems.
- Excellent knowledge and skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- Driver's license B.
