Description
The Material Engineering Team at Vehicle integration and Testing, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. We are building up our Material Engineering Team consisting of Lead Engineers - material experts of the various materials that are used in our vehicles.
You will be working in an interesting workplace with open minded colleagues and a problem solution oriented atmosphere. There are possibilities to focus on and develop your knowledge in your field of expertise further. You will have strong influence on product design.
As a corrosion and surface treatment expert you will guide internal part Lead Engineers and Design Engineers, suppliers, external customers and cooperation partners.
The role as Materials Expert involves:
• Responsibility for attribute Corrosion in our vehicles.
• Responsibility for technical corrosion requirements in technical specifications.
• Guiding in selection of surface treatment materials and relevant material standards to prevent corrosion and test methods for corrosion.
• Designing support body design, assembly and corrosion protection solutions to minimize corrosion risks.
• Responsibility for testing and evaluation of corrosion.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Experience of working as expert with surface treatment and corrosion, minimum 5 years
• Master of Science in relevant domain.
• Expert knowledge of corrosion protection and surface treatment material standard.
• Good skills in MS office
• Driver license B
• Excellent English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
