We are now looking for a Lead Engineer, Chassis Test and Validation.
Description
You will be a part of the Chassis Testing and Validation organization within Vehicle Integration and testing. The organization is responsible for Durability/Reliability, customer focus activities and vehicle planning.
We are now building our validation team around the attributes of chassis testing and validation, we are now looking for test engineers within this field. You will be part of building up a new organisation in a spirit of entrepreneurship with new responsibilities, processes, relationships. Only your creativity is your limit.
In the role Lead Engineer, Chassis Test and Validation, you are responsible for being a part of the team working with validation settings and carry out static and dynamic assessments to secure that the product meet these targets. In this role you will work closely with responsible chassis engineer and suppliers of the chassis system.
The role involves:
• To create a good communication with our internal & external customers,
• Technical communication throughout the products lifecycle,
• Support project and chassis testing both theoretical and practical,
• Actively support weight reduction and cost reduction during the lifecycle,
• Work together with the technicians to prepare test equipment,
• Be responsible of the deadlines, costs and quality of deliveries,
• Be responsible so the testing is executed according to certification and Validation activity plans tied to chassis systems.
• Act as test leader during expeditions
• Be comfortable to work with new measuring methods and equipment.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Relevant work experience, minimum 5 years
• Experience from Technical development or equivalent experience,
• Hands-on- and theoretical knowledge and experience in testing
• Experience in working with internal and external contacts
• Driver license B, C/CE is a plus.
• English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
