Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Lead Engineer, Chassis, Strength & Fatigue testing!
Description
Chassis noise, strength and fatigue testing is a key area in vehicle development. We are looking for a person who wants to work as a test engineer in our chassis strength and fatigue lab.
As a Lead Engineer for Strength and Fatigue testing you will perform all component and system tests for chassis, systems, be involved in requirement settings for all our products and also be responsible for the VAP (Validation Activity Plan) for chassis and chassis components.
You will be part of a strong test team and you will have the opportunity to influence product design in the area of chassis.
The position is organized in the department Vehicle Integration & Testing.
The role as Lead Engineer, Chassis, Strength & Fatigue testing involves;
• responsibility for planning, performing and reporting strength and fatigue test on chassis components and subsystems,
• preparation of vehicle and perform road load data acquisitions (RLDA),
• responsibility for preventive maintenance and technical expertise on servo hydraulic test rigs,
• contact with both internal clients and external customers.
We are looking for someone who has;
minimum 3-year University of Technology or corresponding knowledge gained through experience in combination with other education,
work experience within the relevant area,
experience in preparation of test items for chassis strength and fatigue tests,
highly experienced in working with servo hydraulic test rigs,
thorough knowledge in RPC (remote parameter control)
proficient knowledge in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
driver license B
