The section Active Safety & Vehicle Dynamic Functions delivers world leading active safety and vehicle dynamics functions and has a clear ambition to extend the leadership in the future. The group Brake Software are responsible to realise brake and dynamic function in the vehicle in all programs and over the entire life cycle. The group contains of employees responsible for function realisation, system design and software development of Brakefunctions.
We are looking for a Lead Engineer. In this role you are expected to be involved in Brake software System deliveries during all phases from concept to aftermarket. The Lead Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing the total project content. You will have cross functional responsibility together with purchase and manufacturing. The work is done in cooperation with our suppliers.
Main responsibilities
* Cross functional responsible for deliveries
* Follow up on project milestones
* Report project targets, commitments, status and forecasts
* Monitor and update time plans
* Be a part of technical reviews
* Weekly project meetings with Senior Engineers and Design Engineers
Required qualifications
* Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
* 3 years' experience from project related work within software and electronics, preferably from the automotive industry
* Knowledge of Embedded System
* Ability to communicate on many different levels and understand complex technical problems
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Drivers license (B-level)
* Knowledge of Safety requirements, System Safety ISO 26262 within the automotive industry will be meritorious
