Within the department Painted Body & Closures, the section Closures operates. The section consists of approximately 75 employees and is divided into 4 groups, Door Mechanics, Door Structure and Sealing, Rear Opening Systems and Hood & Fender
We are searching for a dedicated Lead Engineer within the Rear Opening Systems, with deep technical interest to work with Tailgate Manoeuvring Systems (POT), latches and handles. As a Lead Engineer you will drive analysis work, drive idea creations, perform planning and manage implementation of changes in order to improve quality or reduce cost. You are interested in technical analyses, finding solutions and securing implementations in production. This is a cross functional work and you will manage many involved competences and organizations.

Required qualifications
• M.Sc., B.Sc. or similar in experience within Mechanical Engineering or Mecatronics
• Strong leader skills and experienced in leading suppliers
• Analytical ability and technical interests
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Experience within Product Development
• Experience in mechanical and electrical components is meritorious
• Drivers License B
