For this position we are looking for a Network & Cyber Security Engineer to lead our engineering team. We hope that you like to work in a modern, efficient, and integrated environment with the latest tools and techniques within the digitalized industrial automation sector. You will be an important resource in the Engineering and Development team, to help build security into our products by supporting the development teams in matters concerning analysis and design of security related functions. You will be link between the Engineering and Development team, cooperate and interact with Sales team and with the cyber security community within ABB.
You will take the lead in architectural discussions, help development teams and customers with security related feature definition and development. Be involved in projects from early sales activities to final hand over to the customers and thereafter also support and after sales.
The position is located in Västerås.
This position reports to Engineering Manager.
Your responsibilities
Lead architectural discussions
Help development teams and customers with security related feature definition and development
Manage requirements and clause by clause, work with documents and set requirements for R&D
Define standard system requirements and break down customer requirements
Your background
5 years of experience in software development
Knowledge in software design, industrial automation and embedded development is meritorious
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
A high level of self-motivation and curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Sound knowledge of Network e.g VLAN, Routing, Network Equipment, Firewalls
Experience in Windows servers and services (windows eco system), ActiveDirectory and Ansible is meritorious
Knowledge of IEC 62443/NIS/NIST/IEEE is advantageous
Probably a M.Sc. or B.SC in Computer Science or similar
As you will have frequent international contacts, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike. Additional language skills as e.g Swedish are an advantage
