We are looking for a person with high experience within electrical design, who will have the role as component owner for electrical components within the HV Battery Systems at Polestar. Read more below and apply today!
In this role you'll be a part of Polestars' Battery System Design team which is a part of the Propulsion Department. You will be proposing innovative design solutions which help to push the future development of Polestar Brand. This is a team with the mission to deliver results which exceed the customers' expectations.
What you'll do
You will have responsibility for electrical components within the HV Battery system (e.g. DCDC) and be responsible for supplier relationships.
Furthermore, you will:
• Collaborate closely with battery design engineers within the team
• Collaborate cross functionally with all team disciplines
• Competitor benchmark to aid design direction
Who You Are
• Experience in electrical design for Automotive industry
• Understanding the electrical aspects of designing HV systems.
• Experience in designing towards HV Battery standards (China Battery GB standards, UNEC R100 and IEC-, SAE-, ISO- battery standards)
• Basic knowledge in safety aspects of Battery design
• Bachelors or higher degree within electrical engineering or other similar university degree is mandatory for this job.
To be a great fit for this role we believe you have experience within the electrical design area for HV systems in automotive industry and have a high-level understanding of electric vehicle design pre-requisites.
