We have many interesting challenges in front of us with increasing the use of models-based strategies both for controlling and diagnostics, defining solutions for several new engine concepts to support reduced CO2 emissions and California ultra-low NOx regulations, etc. A creative and problem solving mindset is there for important.

If you are the one that brings passion to work and want to have fun with us while reducing the environmental impact of tomorrows transport solutions, then please continue to read because you might just be our new lead development engineer.

What can we offer you?
You will be part of a team developing cutting edge control strategies and diagnostic solutions for combustion engines - giving you the opportunity to influence the development of our future products at the same time as contributing to your future development within Volvo Group.

As we use the same base strategies for all our engines globally and across all products you will have the opportunity to interact with highly skilled colleagues all over the world and get the challenge to find a common solution for all customers whenever possible while still keeping it simple to calibrate.
This position is a great starting point for really learning about how the engine system works that gives many opportunities for further career development in a global organization.

At Volvo Group we are actively working to establish teams that take maximum advantage of the strength inherent in differences in background, knowledge, experience, age, gender and nationality.

Do you have a holistic view and a drive to always improve something good to something even better, always with our customer in focus? Then we are hoping to hear from you!
