Team description
Our team's purpose is to harmonize the global IT landscape for Wholesale & Retail Administration by adapting Microsoft Dynamics 365. The ultimate goal is of course to have happy users who can use the power of software and data to make better decisions and, ultimately, support Scania's journey in driving the shift towards sustainable transport solutions. To get there, we need to work together to find the best solutions for Scania and work with continuous improvements in our ways of working.

Since we are working with a big ERP system, we would appreciate someone with a creative, agile mind to help us find ways at improving our way of working together with our IT and business colleagues. You have expertise within Dynamics 365 and also perhaps other ERP systems, and therefore you have a good appreciation of the challenges the members of the team face on a daily basis. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
We're currently looking for an additional Lead developer/Technical specialist to expand the team and support us in our agile journey, improve our development strategy, processes and way of working.
In this role, you are expected to work closely with all team members in the D365 F&O development team that consists of 5 squads with many developers, scrum masters, app.specialists and product owners. You will have a central role in our quality assurance squad, supporting the other squads and make sure we deliver in time and with the highest quality. You will need extensive experience with all phases of D365 F&O software development life cycle using a combination of Azure DevOps and LCS
Below are some of the daily activities:
• Develop, deploy, customize, maintain and integrate Microsoft Dynamics D365 modules
• Actions to find bottlenecks to prevent incidents to happen.
• Root cause analysis and impact assessments of incidents in existing solutions.
• Review code, improve developer guidelines, support/mentor and guide colleagues.
• Ensure that modifications, extensions and customizations are well documented.
• Create business process automations using Power Automation, Power Apps, Logic Apps and Azure services.
• Handling database activities at Microsoft Lifecycle Services (Refresh, export, import, point in time restore).
Qualifications
• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or other technical disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience in D365 F&O Technical Development and Deployment skills
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 design, development and support experience.
• Currently in a role as Lead developer/Technical lead
• Dynamics 365 F&O (technical) and Azure certifications are highly desired.
• Development exp: X++, C# and SQL.
• Experience in D365 (mainly F&O) implementations and development projects.
• Demonstrated history of successful full-cycle implementation projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks.
• The work environment is international and our corporate language is English.

We work in quite a complex environment, both regarding the organization and the system. There are lots of dependencies between the different modules and areas within Dynamics and we have many stakeholders with different requirements. While we try to keep it as standardized as possible, there is a fine line to find what should be customized and what shouldn't.
