Visma is looking for a skilled and self-driven Lead Developer to a new sub-team in Visma eEkonomi, a web based invoice and accounting system for small companies and accounting firms in the Nordics.
In our R & D department you will work in a creative environment with the latest technology together with really great co-workers. We are doing Continuous delivery, Devops, SecOps and we are running our cloud services on Microsoft Azure. In our department you will have the possibility to learn and grow. Once a month we run "My Competence Day" to ensure that there are possibilities for everyone to learn and try out new things.
Your role and your tasks:
You ensure that the service is designed and developed according to standards and best practices. You also coach and guide developers in your team in their daily work and lead by example.
As Lead Developer it's in your responsibility to ensure quality and performance by codreviews and hosting design review sessions. You advise the team in design and technical long-term decisions and ensure that the service fulfills the requirement of security.
Who are you? In this role we believe it's important that you have good communication skills and can lead both developers, product owners and managers to reach our common goals.
You also have:
Experience from working with C#, ASP.NET MVC. If you have experience from HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a plus, but not a requirement.
Relevant education or experience working as developer
Knowledge about the environment we work in: Visual Studio (C#), WebApi and MS SQL (Entity Framework)
Knowledge of and passion for TDD, design patterns and modern programming practices
Knowledge of database modelling and development
