Are you ready for new challenges? We are looking for a lead developer to one of our development teams.

Job description

We offer a challenging role and an opportunity to grow in multiple areas spanning the entire application lifecycle. As a lead developer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of high-quality code in the application in close relationship with the other developers to ensure the future quality. You will also be an important link between other System Architect and the rest of the development team and close cooperation with our business organization is required. This makes you a key person in our delivery organization and you will have focus on both functional and technical improvements.

Responsibilities

Contribute as a developer in the development team releases.
Introduce, promote and discuss design patterns that can improve the code base.
Introduce, promote and discuss coding guidelines.
Support the System Architect by discussing and establishing steps involved in the implementation of solutions according to the desired architecture.
Research and propose the usage of tools that can help us work more efficiently.
Discuss Application Lifecycle Management with all stakeholders (including developers, testers, architects, requirements analysts and users).

Profile and personality

You have a genuine interest in technology and want to be the best in your area of expertise and curious to understand the big picture. Enthusiasm is a requirement and you take full ownership of your tasks. You are a self-starter who can take the initiative and work independently, but you have leadership skills and an effective team player. Working towards deadlines and be focused on results and quality is essential. We want someone who is eager to learn and who will share findings with others. Your interest in development tools and techniques are insatiable.

We are looking for someone who have:

Extensive experience of system development
Extensive experience of .Net development in C#
Extensive experience of MSSQL Server development

Since we are working with distributed teams a fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement and experience from P&C insurance is a merit.
