We are currently looking for a Lead Design Manager
Overall responsibilities inherent in this key role and challenging one are to oversee all of the project management, coordinating the design, managing the dynamic and complex architectural/interior design, constructional and administrative works of hospitality projects, which transcend typical managerial lines and/or require a high degree of specialized knowledge on completion if projects in conformity with requirements, building standards, regulations and budgetary limits. Other responsibilities involve the supervision and coordination of all members of the design team, including Architects, CAD Draughtsman and Interior Designers. It will be your mission to lead, manage, delegate and motivate the design team to achieve the successful and timely completion of the project to the high standards set.
With a degree in Architecture of Interior Design, you will have a minimum of 10-20 years relevant experience with 7 years as a Senior Designer typically managing large projects.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the main purpose to this role i to lead, direct and review all the design elements of the new projects consisting of architectural, space planning, and interior design such that the design effectively comprehends and implements the client's requirements and standards as well as sound understanding in MEP, structural and electromechanical.
You will also have the ability to read, interpret, and analyze drawings and FF&E solutions as well as offer cost saving and quality improvement advice on value engineering in order to assist in the success of the project.
As this is a senior-level position within the organization, the successful candidate will be an exceptional leader with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels - both internally and externally. A sound commercial understanding in addition to strong budgeting and contract administration experience is integral to success within this position.
A skilled leader and motivator you will be comfortable working with a multicultural team within a Swedish environment. Strong PC skills are essential with good a knowledge of CAD. Communication skills in English are key in this role with the ability to speak other languages an advantage.
