Stora Enso Sourcing and Logistics is looking for a clear, visible, courageous and ambitious candidate with high potential to assume the role of Lead buyer of raw material for Biocomposites in our Sourcing team in Wood Products Sourcing.
The primary location for this position is Hyltebruk, Sweden, where Stora Enso by innovative work currently is building a biocomposite center. The lead buyer is responsible for keeping the operation of biocomposite running smoothly by ensuring sourcing of raw material on a strategic, tactic and operational level. The lead buyer is a negotiator, administrator as well as supplier responsible for dedicated suppliers.
The lead buyer will report directly to SVP Sourcing Wood Products, and will also be a part of the sourcing team in Hylte.
Main responsibilities:
Primary responsibility for the lead buyer is to formulate and execute strategies for all biocomposite raw material, with the target to deliver lower cost for the required quality, establish and develop close cooperation with suppliers, leading to the overall target; Source the Best Partners.
Based on the strategies, the lead buyer will establish and implement procurement plans together with the available internal resources in order to make best use of the existing supplier agreements.
Additionally key areas is to develop existing and future supplier base, which includes pre-qualifications in line with our Supplier Code of Conduct as well as to proactive lead continuous improvement efforts in close cooperation with selected key suppliers. The lead buyer will take a proactive approach in reviewing current systems and procedures, making recommendations and implementing changes according to One Sourcing Way - our standardized process for sourcing within Stora Enso. In addition, the lead buyer will participate in sourcing related issues
Qualifications
* Master Degree in polymer technology/chemical engineering, Economics/ Business, Sourcing or Operations management.
* 5+ years working experience in international sourcing
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Knowledge in polymer technology, or chemical engineering background
* Knowledge of contract law and working knowledge of MS office and other IT systems

The position requires travelling.
