For customer in the automotive industry we are looking for a Lead Buyer to be responsible for the purchasing process of production materials, indirect materials and services. You will plan and coordinate procurement, prepare requests for quotation, evaluate, negotiate and sign contracts with suppliers. The assignment will start as soon as possible and continue a couple of months with possible extension.

Publiceringsdatum2015-11-26Dina arbetsuppgifterFor this assignment you will lead strategic sourcing projects aiming at reducing cost of purchased material. You will work with sourcing buyers and other functional heads to define strong sourcing strategies for main segments of purchased material. Manage cross functional teams consisting of people from purchasing, product development, logistics, manufacturing & sales & marketing. You will be responsible to ensure good understanding within the purchasing team of the needs in the business, search for the most competitive suppliers, define strong bid strategies, manage RFQ processes, develop negotiation strategy and conduct well-prepared fact based negotiations. Furthermore, you will ensure that a strong key stakeholder process is in place, enabling a strong integration with the regions and that communication links work from the global organization out to all factories. You will be a positive coach and trainer of the buyers to develop skills in advanced strategic sourcing, including training in supply market analytics, should-cost modelling, spend analytics, category profiling, supplier assessments, supplier financial analysis, etc. Travelling is required.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We believe that you are fluent in English with a university degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering Strong with skills in project/program management, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. Minimum 5 years purchasing experience is required, preferably with technical components/systems and excellent business understanding, negotiating skills and commercial experience. As a person we believe that you have strong business focus and result orientation, good knowledge about macroeconomics, industry dynamics and customer demands. We believe you have excellence skills in communication, presentation and networking and experience of working in an international structure managing teams globally and deep understanding of cultural aspects operating in Asia, Europe & the Americas.
