About the job
The purchasing department within E&S Tumba is now looking for a Lead Buyer to be responsible for spend activities within E&S Tumba. For the right candidate this is an ideal opportunity to grow in an exciting business environment with huge potentialAs a Lead Buyer you will be a part of the Supply and Governance team but work mainly with secure that project procurement is done at a competitive level by driving purchase savings while supporting business needs.
Responsibilities:
Understand project business requirements (technical and commercial) by interfacing with stakeholders (e.g. Project Managers, Engineering Managers, Industry Managers, Supply Managers, Global Supply team).
Handle complicated and unique purchases with a significant economical impact on the actual project budget, with emphasis on subcontracting for both PEP and PFL
Define and execute RFQs and contracts for both customer projects/orders and frame agreements.
Participate in the continued development of the purchasing functions on the site.
Coach and mentoring of Tumba Purchase team (3-4 persons)
Candidate profile:Your background is within purchasing in the process industry and you hold relevant a university degree. You have at least 5 years' experience from purchasing in a strategic position and are used to deal with cross-functional relationships. You are strong at contract management and are used to work in the project oriented business.You are an open minded team player, who is persistent, proactive, takes initiatives, providing solutions and adding value in projects.
