Sandvik Coromant Production Finance is responsible for the development and operation of the financial and performance management processes, and for providing analysis, support and active engagement in production management teams. We are now looking for a Lead Business Controller for a role that covers particularly Global Round Tools Production, and has indirect reporting from production units globally. This is a key role with a global scope and many interfaces, a combination of great responsibility, business involvement and impact, as well as leadership and a chance to join a world leader in the industry. Location
Sandviken, Sweden. Other locations may be discussed. Extensive international travel is a natural part of this position.
Key performance areas
As Lead Business Controller, you contribute by leading the performance development within production. In collaboration with production managers, you set strategy and targets, carry out goal-oriented activities, improve the current financial processes and handle related issues. You are an active member of the Round Tools Production management team and the Finance team, and you are responsible for the consolidated performance process and reports for production of actual results, short and long-term outlooks, as well as analysis and proposals for actions to eliminate deviations. Part of your responsibility is also to increase knowledge within the organization of the financial effects of business decisions, including understanding the consolidated business model. As a manager with indirect reports from Sandvik Coromant's production unit controllers, you support these with competence development, best practice sharing and strengthening of the controller network.
Your profile
We are looking for a dynamic team member with a relevant university degree, or equivalent knowledge obtained from work experience, and at least five years' experience from business controlling including production controlling. Previous assignments in a leadership position, in direct or indirect management, and including change management is advantageous. To drive performance from a financial perspective, you also need business understanding, preferably from a manufacturing industry. You have knowledge of financial principles, rules and processes, including financial and production accounting, as well as of supporting and improving performance and compliance. You have good knowledge of Office 365, especially regarding MS Office's Excel and PowerPoint, and as we act on a global stage, you need excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

With a holistic view and a sense for numbers, you use your analytical and structural ability to create persuasive presentations supported by good arguments.
